Kumara Rani's Chettinad Vidyalaya will be conducted Sishu Utsav – 2016 for KG students on 6/8/2016 at Chettinad Vidyashram's Auditorium,Chennai.Our School Students will be participated in Drawing,colouring,group dance ,story telling and fancy dress competitions.

Ramalingar pani Mandram will be conducted Art & Literature Competitions on 7/8/16 at P.S. Hr. Sec. School, Mylapore.Indhuja.V & Sudhanidhi of XI std will be participated in music competition, Sharmila.B & Jenifer Princy of XI std will be participated in Oratorical competition,Lavanya.S & Dhivya Sri . R will be participated in Poem recitation Competition.

Geeta Chanting Competition will be conducted in our School in the month of September & Mass Geetha Chanting will be conducted on August – 8 in our School Campus.

KG CCSA Competition – Musical Chair was conducted on 29.07.16

85 Students from our School participated in Thiruvallur Distrct Athletic Meet Which was conducted by District Assocciation on 23/7/2016 at SDAT ground ,Thiruvallur.

    Our School students participated in TNCA – City Schools Tournament which was conducted byThe Tamilnadu Cricket Association for C.Ramaswamy Trophy – Under 16 – 2016- 2017 at Pallavaram on 21/7/16.

    Mrs.Nithya[PET teacher ] attended the meeting regarding Poonamallee Zonal Sports Meet which was conducted by Headmaster Zonal Secratry of Poonamalli Zone at Govt.Girls .Hr.Sec.School,Poonamallee on 20/7/2016 .

    169 Students participated in My clean India – Inter school drawing competition which was organized by The high level Committee of Justice Mohan Children's University on 15/7/16 in our school campus.

    G.Dayanithi – XI B, M.Chermaraj – XI B attended Inspire Internship Science Camp 2016 which was sponsored by Department of Science and Technology,Government of India & organized by B.S.Abdur Rahman University at Vandalur from 18 – July to 22 – July .

    Mrs.Priya Shanmugavel & Mrs.Papitha attended the workshop for Interactive teaching which was conducted by NEXT.EDUCATION.

    Ms.P.Saranya & Ms.Thilaga attended Mathematics & Science workshop on 16/7/16 which was conducted by Bhavan's Rajaji Vidyashram at Kilpauk.

    Commerce Carnival – Interschool competition was conducted by G.K.Shetty Vivekananda Vidyalaya Junior College at Ambattur on 16/7/16.

    Result: Ayush – XI C & Prajesh – XI B won the III – prize for their Power point presentation on the topic of 'Clean India'.


    KG CCA Competition – English Story Telling was conducted on 15.07.16.

    Karuna International club was conducting Drawing Competition on 9/7/16 [Saturday] from III to VIII , IX and XI std students on the topic " Where is our food coming from? " in our School campus.

    13. AGE – Avant – grade Essence 2016 an Inter school cultural Fest was conducted by D.A.V Public School at Velachery on 8/7/16 [ Friday].

    16 students from IX – XII std were participating in " Inter- School Knock Out Cricket Tournament" which was conducting by Lady Andal School at Thambaram on 3/7/16 .

    15 students from V – VIII std were participating in " Inter- School league cum Knock Out Cricket Tournament" which was conducting by Gee Ge Cricket Academy at Kundrathur from 5/7/16 to 8/7/16.

    On account of Kamarajar's birthday Anniversary [Education Development Day] Drawing, handwriting ,poem writing & essay writing competitions were conducting in school campus on 2/7/16 & 4/7/16 [Saturday & Monday].


    Result : 53 Students won the prizes in different category & 5 special prizes were given by the organisation. Thirunirai Selvi of IX – D won the Gold coin for her Drawing. In Thiruvallur District the best School in art & literature and " Sirandha Kalai Valarpalli" – Award was given to our school.

    Mrs.Deeshma & Mrs.Srividhya were participating in Value education Orientation Camp which was conducted by Sruti Kendra on 26/6/16 [Sunday] at Virugambakkam.

    8 students had participated in International Spellbee Examination on 26/6/16. [Sunday]

  • KG CCA Competition – English Recitation, Lemon & Spoon CCSA was conducted and Colour Day – YELLOW was celebrated in KG Block on 24.06.16


    • Yoga demonstration & Yoga training was given to the students of VIII to XII std for 1 hour [2.30 p.m – 3.30 p.m]due to yoga day by Isha Yoga association in Ayurveda college Auditorium from 20/6/16 to 28/6/16.

    Yoga demonstration & Yoga training was given to the teachers of K.G & Primary due to yoga day by Isha Yoga association in A.V room on 14/6/16.[Tuesday]

    Rs.7285 was contributed by 1457 students [each Rs.5] an account of International White Cane Day which is organized by Indian association for the blind.

  • 8 students who secured 10 CGPA in X std [2015 -16] went to kanchipuram, received silver medal and certificate from Kanchi Periyava on 7/6/2016.[Tuesday]
